Benue Smart Educator Development Programme
Build the knowledge, practical capabilities and continuing professional support educators need for teaching and education leadership in a smart and intelligent economy.
Scope of the component
- Foundational digital skills and confident use of school management systems.
- Technology-supported pedagogy, lesson preparation, assessment and inclusive learning.
- Responsible use of AI and digital resources, including checking accuracy and protecting learner information.
- Education leadership, coaching, peer learning and ongoing professional support.
Activation approach
Launch alongside Benue-SEMS using practical tasks, coaching and demonstrations of classroom and administrative use.
Intended result
Educators apply relevant digital and teaching capabilities in their daily work.

This component connects with BenueSEP’s school systems, educator development, digital learning and infrastructure arrangements. Availability will follow confirmed delivery conditions and institutional agreements.
